The archive costs money to keep up. Donations are the only thing paying for it.

This site is not free to run. Every search, every page and every chapter comes off paid hosting and a paid database, and the works themselves sit in paid storage. The bill grows with the number of people reading. If enough visitors arrive at once, or someone decides to attack the site, it goes down, and the bill still comes.

Donations are the only thing paying for it. There are no ads, no subscriptions and nothing for sale. Give once, in any amount.
